Biographie
Marino is the Group Chief Investment Officer of the Cardano Group, based in London. At Cardano, he leads a team of 90 investment professionals, based in both London and Rotterdam. Cardano provides investment advice and management to institutions, with a special focus on pension clients. Marino also sits on the Investment Committee of the CFA UK and is actively involved in its mentoring program.
Before joining Cardano, Marino worked at Barings in London for the prior 20 years, covering various roles among which the one of Chief Investment Officer from 2007 to 2014. Before that, Marino worked for Commerz International Capital Management in Frankfurt, American Express Bank in Milan and Banca di Roma in London and Rome.
Marino holds a Master in Business from Università di Roma Tor Vergata and a Law Degree from Università LUISS in Rome. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in History of Art and Architecture from Birkbeck College, University of London. He is a CFA Charterholder since 1997; he also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the International Securities Market Association (ISMA) General Certificate.
