Dr. Jan Spelsiek

Dr. Jan Spelsiek is Head of Digital Transformation at Allianz Global Investors with focus on global programs for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Wealth Management. As the program lead for AllianzGI’s Digital Wealth Management Program Jan is responsible for building up a global B2B2C investment ecosystem for distribution partners and the strategic partnership with Moneyfarm - one of the leading digital wealth managers in Europe. He set up a global and cross-functional digital transformation program to enable AllianzGI to fully embrace the potential of Artificial Intelligence, in particular with focus on investments. Jan started his career in management consulting with McKinsey & Company in 1999 and after working for several years in the private banking and asset management industry joined Allianz Global Investors in 2009. Jan holds a Master of Business Administration and PhD from Westfälische Wilhelms-University of Muenster and is a university lecturer at Heinrich-Heine-University of Dusseldorf for digital transformation and services marketing.
